Reborn, had he been a lesser man, would have dropped his jaw.

There was no way that it could possibly be true.

Tsuna was bipolar?

He hid it under a long curtain of patience, self sustained and eloquently, gracefully, hiding the tell tale signs. One that Reborn couldn't spot until Tsuna became 21 years old. It took Reborn 8 long years to finally notice. To be truthful, it explained everything with such satisfaction like opening a present on Christmas Day. From Tsuna's mother hen nature to an instant sassy response to angry beyond compare.

When confronted, Tsuna sheepishly admitted to it. Although, he asked Reborn not to tell a soul, he had worked so hard to train himself to hide the shifts with his latent patience. At the time he had been diagnosed, Mama could only afford the pills for the first few months, then she started taking more jobs for his pills. "I had her stop, I told her I would try to conceal it as much as possible," Tsuna murmured, "Then in middle school, I wasn't simply bipolar, I was bipolar depressed. My grades dropped, my health fell, but I kept on hiding behind a thin vale of glass"

Laughing softly, he continued, "Of course midway through that slump you arrived, with Hayato, Takeshi, Lambo, Fuuta, Ipin, and just everyone to indirectly bring out of my slump. For that, Reborn, thank you. I don't know what I would have done without you"

After this, after all the tears and secrets Tsuna released, Reborn asked his dear boyfriend out for a date. After all, Tsuna needed some tender loving care.

It was one of those days when the others found out. One of those oh-my-gosh-let-me-get-some-sleep-before-I-murder-everyone days, where the struggle had been so very real. The whole Mafia seemed to want to cause Vongola trouble at the same time, and Tsuna was getting white hairs faster than a polar bear.

There was this issue that caused Tsuna to lose composure, where the curtain, which long hid the cracks in the vale of glass, tore and fell from it's bindings. In this instance, the switch flipped freely and openly with ease, patience grasping at straws to hide the change. Patience fell short and looks of shock morphed into understanding overtook the eyes of those Tsuna loved.

As if just a gentle breeze blowing by, a small voice, most likely Fuuta, spoke with concern and curiosity laced in the words, "Tsuna-nii, are you bipolar?"

The words, "are you bipolar?" crashed into Tsuna's processes with the velocity of a train. He didn't even comprehend his name being spoken, all he could hear was those words, his worst fear, echoing in his head. With an uneasy nod, Tsuna shifted from foot to foot as his family unraveled his most sacred secret. With a swift "No" to Shamal, he somehow managed to stay off the drugs, and returned to hiding the cracked vale of glass behind his patched curtain of patience.

Hey, it has been awhile since my writing has touched the dA space hasn't it? Whoops.
Well have this Katekyo Hitman Reborn! piece
I did do some research on Bipolar and it's affects, but if I am wrong about something I'll gladly fix it!
